and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter. Sealed Bids will be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, June 27, 2025, and will be opened publicly by Kevin Huff, Finance Director of the City of Reminderville, for furnishing the necessary labor and materials, tools, machinery, and appliances for the Project:

City of Reminderville Athletic Club Roof & Natatorium Restoration Project

3100 Glenwood Boulevard, Reminderville, OH 44087

Project Engineer’s Estimate $3,404,206.00.

Bids for the above-described work must be submitted on forms (or copies thereof) furnished with the bid documents and in accordance with the plans and specifications, dated May 2025, authored by Construction Resources, Inc., 33900 Station Street, Solon, OH 44139, Telephone (440) 248-9800, Makarich Structural Engineering, PO Box 1389, Willoughby, OH 44096; Scheeser, Buckley, Mayfield, LLC, 1540 Corporate Woods Parkway, Uniontown, OH 44685. Copies of said plans and specifications may be obtained by bidders or other interested parties for a $150.00 non-refundable fee, made payable to Construction Resources, Inc. The plans and specifications may be reserved for pick-up at the pre-bid meeting or picked up at the office of Construction Resources, Inc. The prebid meeting will be at the Reminderville Athletic Center, located at 3100 Glenwood Blvd., Reminderville, OH 44087, on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. All bidders should attend the pre- bid meeting in order to submit a proper bid that will be considered by the Owner.

Please note that in order to be considered and “responsive bidder” for this project, you must purchase a set of plans and bid documents, and follow all instructions provided. Bids from contractors who are not plan holders will be disqualified.

Bids must be addressed to Kevin Huff, Finance Director of the City of Reminderville. All sealed bids should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “City of Reminderville Athletic Center Roof & Natatorium Restoration Project.” Any bids received after the time designated in this advertisement will be returned unopened. Bids must be delivered to the following location:

City of Reminderville City Hall at 3382 Glenwood Boulevard, Reminderville, OH 44202

It is understood and agreed that work embodied in this Contract for the Base Bids and Alternates as awarded shall start on or about July 28, 2025, and be completed no later than February 13, 2026, unless an extension of time is granted by the Owner. A fee of $1,000.00 per day may be charged for work does not complete by February 13, 2026.

Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, shall state the price for labor and materials, and must be accompanied by a BID GUARANTEE meeting the requirements of Section 153.571 and 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code.

This project is subject to Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws. Each bidder must insure that no employees and applicants for employment are discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

If in the opinion of the Owner, the acceptance of the lowest responsible bid is not in the best interest of all concerned, the Owner may accept another proposal so opened or reject all proposals and advertise for other bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.

CITY OF CUYAHOGA FALLS

LEGAL NOTICE

Sealed proposals will be received in the office of the Director of Public Service, Municipal Building, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, until 12:00 noon, TUESDAY, JUNE 17, 2025, with bids being opened in Conference Room “A”, Second Floor, Municipal Building, 2310 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, for the Replacement of Air Handling Units at City Hall project in the City of Cuyahoga Falls.

Plans and proposals may be obtained in the office of the City Engineer, First Floor, Municipal Building, at Forty Dollars ($40.00) per copy, with no refund. Current Specifications for the City of Cuyahoga Falls, 1976 Edition, may be obtained on the City's website, www.cityofcf.com on the Engineering Department page.

There will be a pre-bid meeting on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in Conference Room A at the Municipal Building. Anyone interested in submitting a proposal for this project is encouraged to attend.

Bidders must use the printed forms provided therefore, as none other will be accepted. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties making the same, and all parties interested therein, and must be accompanied by a bond or certified check in the sum of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, on a solvent bank, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into.
